Все остальное – бескрайний Мир Гурманов, где среди дикой и враждебной природы можно найти редкие растения и легендарных животных, которые дают новые ингредиенты уникальных блюд. Разумеется, вход в этот мир, кишащий опасными хищниками и порталами в иные вселенные, открыт только избранным.

Героями планеты являются искусные повара и особый класс охотников, что проникают в Мир Гурманов в поисках новых знаний и вкусов. Торико – молодой, но уже знаменитый охотник-гурман, которому дегустация новых блюд дает сверхчеловеческие способности, неуемный аппетит и великую жажду нового. Его напарник Комацу – юный гений кулинарии, завороженный способностями Торико к открытию невиданных ингредиентов. Дружный тандем движется от приключения к приключению, стараясь воплотить общую мечту – создать лучший в истории полный обед, главное блюдо которого зовется просто: «божественное».
